The Hearthhands Collection - 19 villager sprites, 200x200 & 100x100
A downloadable asset pack
Both Hearthhands packs, one download, one palette
The Working Day and Market and Craft together: 19 working villagers — baker, farmer, fisher, herbalist, herder, miner, shopkeeper, smith, woodcutter, carter, chandler, cooper, fishmonger, innkeeper, potter, scribe, tanner, washerwoman, weaver.
Every one ships at 200x200 and 100x100, in four directions, with an idle, a 6-frame walk and a 7-frame job loop. Bought separately the two packs are $15.98. This is $9.99.
The job loop is the point
Most top-down villager packs give you idle and walk. These nineteen also do their trade: the smith works hot iron, the baker kneads at the bench, the herder swings a shepherd's crook out through the grass and draws it back in, the fishmonger calls out her wares. The tool is in hand and it moves. That is the state a town scene spends most of its time in.
One palette, and the number that proves it
Both packs draw on the same 43 colours — not a superset, not a near match, the same set, shipped as palette_master.json. Every opaque pixel in the download, 12,222,182 of them, falls inside it. That is a counted figure, not a claim: it comes from a proof that runs over the files you receive, and you can re-run it on your own copy.
What is checked before this page goes up
- Every .png really is a PNG, not a renamed JPEG — PASS, 2,128 files
- Every image decodes to real pixels — PASS, 2,128 files
- Every sprite is exactly one cell; every sheet a whole multiple of it — PASS, 2,128 files
- Every opaque pixel is inside the declared 43-colour palette — PASS, 12,222,182 pixels
- Alpha is strictly binary: no anti-aliasing, no soft upscale — PASS, 151,050,000 pixels
- Every declared frame is mapped and exists at every grid — PASS, 6,517 frame checks
- Every asset at one grid size is present at the other — PASS, 2,128 asset slots
Godot built every shipped SpriteFrames resource at both grids — 1,862 frames, every one resolving to a real image, every region, fps and loop exactly what the file declares.

Stated plainly
- The job loop ships 3 facings, not 4 — south, west, east. A villager at work is drawn from the front and both sides; there is no view of their back at the bench.
pack.jsondeclares this, so a tool reading the manifest sees it too. - There is no run, jump, carry or sit state: idle, walk and the job loop.
- The fisher's oilcloth and the scribe's satchel hang at the front of the hip. Both are drawn in the south, east and west views and neither is drawn from behind, where the body is between them and you.
- The 200x200 grid is the drawn one; the 100x100 grid is cut down from it by a 2x2 majority vote on colour, never a smooth resample and never an upscale, so both carry the identical palette.

AI disclosure
The art in these packs is generated with an AI image model — PixelLab, a pixel-art diffusion model, on a paid plan that grants commercial rights, then palette-locked and cut to each grid by tooling we wrote. The code in that pipeline was written with AI assistance too. If you would rather not use AI-generated assets, please don't buy this.
